To transform the brand from educational into actionable.

Insight
Not enough people know what ghost nets. This makes it an invisible problem.

Solution
A rebrand for Ghost Network that demystifies what ghost net's are, what Ghost Network does, and how people can get involved. Reconnecting the brand identity with well-known parent brand, Sea Shepherd, to drive brand recognition.

RESULTS
Brand strategy including personality, manifesto, and what/how/why statements. Visual identity including logomark. Brand assets including landing page and brand video. Brand guidelines, including design guides and actionable recommendations for implementation, and a suite of examples.

BRAND STRATEGY | RESEARCH & UNDERSTANDING (ARCHITECTURE, INSIGHTS, AUDIENCE, SURVEY ANALYTICS)
After a strategy workshop with key stakeholders of both Ghost Network and Sea Shepherd, established a clear brand architecture which helped frame how we would treat visual identity within the branding process. We then looked into the market, familiarising ourselves with the scale of the problem. We were amazed at how little we knew about the problem, and the extent of ghost nets on the environment. This research informed the creative, leading to huge, bold visuals that make the issue impossible to ignore any more.

BRAND RESULTS | DEMYSTIFYING GHOST NETS
Ghost Network (by Sea Shepherd) is a coalition of ghost net initiatives & like-minded people who track down discarded fishing nets, recycle and make new products from them.
We’re done with greenwashing, fluffy language and ‘efforts in the right direction’. We have a rebellious spirit because now is the time to fight. We are the protectors of marine life, and ghost nets are our enemy. We’re spelling out the problem loud and clear by making the invisible, visible.
